Prior to implementing any new tactic, a full SOP/SOG should be developed and implemented according to your department's practices. As with any tool, proper training should be conducted in the use, limitations and safety considerations of the AttackSpike™ nozzles and related tactics.

Prior to engaging in any tactic, a proper size-up should be conducted with a thermal imager to locate the body of fire as accurately as possible.

In any of the below tactics multiple AttackSpikes can be deployed for larger volumes of fire or to provide more coverage / protection from extension.
